Identify by Ear plays a chord and asks you to name it. It trains you to recognise chords by their sound.

Open Identify by Ear from More and start. The app plays a chord, and you choose which one it was from the options. You can replay the sound as many times as you need.

Why it helps

Hearing a chord and knowing what it is lets you work out music by ear and follow along without the notes in front of you. Short, regular sessions build the link between a sound and its name.
